BMW M2 Phone Mount
The Problem
I have a 2016 BMW M2; it came without Apple CarPlay, unfortunately, so I’ve always had to set up my music app or navigation before I start driving. It’s a routine that has made me contemplate upgrading my iDrive system.
Anyways, I digress; after setting up my maps/music, I would throw my phone into my cupholder. This would require a quick glance down when navigation was on (which isn’t the safest), so I started wondering if there was a phone mount that was minimal enough to compliment the car’s interior.
I searched around, ordered a few different options to try them out, but I ultimately ended up with this option! It has proven to be steady even with a BM3 Stage II WOT launch.
*Note: This will only work if you have a thin phone case. It won’t work with otterbox case or any other ‘big’ phone case.
